Evaluation- Question 3- Christabell Ndive

This video ends at 7.35 mins

The animatic was made during the planning stages of my music video. I created this storyboard on a plan sheet and took pictures of each section individually.
I then used final-cut pro to put the mini clips over the song 'Disappear'. This helped me visualise the music video, and when it came to production- filming day my group was organised and we knew exactly what we were going to film on both days.

EVALUATION -QUESTION TWO

The following video is our final music video production; the password is 'student'

I am sorry about the inconvenience, but when I was in the process of exporting my Camtasia presentation the program crashed and I could not go back to edit it and make the writing more visible, however it did export my production. Below is a screen shot of all the writing that is shown in the video and isn't very visible

TAMARA AKOTUAH: EVALUATION- Q3 How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

EVALUATION -QUESTION ONE

Videos that have had some influence in our music video

YOU DA ONE -RIHANNA

FORGIVENESS -WRETCH 32 FT ETTA BOND

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwwcLu93Ttw

In reference to Jessie J's digipak and advert, the same photo of the artist was used, this is a feature that I didn't use in the production of my products. I used to different photos of the artist, I think this allows the artist to be unique and gives more recognition

Evaluation- Question 1- Christabell Ndive

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms conventions of real media products?

The video's I have been influenced by and why

Rihanna- You Da One

Rihanna- Diamonds

My digipak and advertisement

Rita Ora's Album Cover And Advertisement
She is an artist that is highly similar to the genre of Katy B's music. Her first album release cover is in black and white which is the same as my digipak cover (Below) The image on her advertisement isn't in black and white which is something that I have also shown in my advertisement. The color red is significant in her music video 'how we do'. In our music video the color red is also picked up. My advertisement and digipak follows the idea of cohesion effectively like the example above through the use of the grey theme.

Beyonce ' I Am Sasha Fierce'

' I Am Sasha Fierce Deluxe Album'

Ancillary product's aspect of visual style linked with the music video's that were released.
The use of black and white and close-up's presenting her sensible and gentle side.
I made the image on the outer panel of my digipack black and white, because I wanted it to reflect her vulnerable side. To reflect her party side I enhanced her lip color. I felt that this created a
dynamic composition for my image reflecting the mood of the song, and the two different sides to
the artist 'JUELZ ALLANA'

Production- Final Product

Below is my finished ancillary product; digipak and advertisement.
I used the same metallic grey so that there would be a cohesion between all the ancillary products.
In the outer panel for the CD cover I de-saturated the image in photoshop, and used the select tool along with the hue saturation, and color picker to enhance her red lip. I wanted that to be an attention grabber for the audience. The same 'Bright young things' text is used on both products. With the inside panel of the CD I wanted to keep it simple, and minimalist. The was common among digipaks that I researched, which is why I chose to go along with this style for my final piece.
