When our group started editing the rough cut we came across a number of things that we decided to change.
- When we filmed on our first day it got dark quickly therefore our footage was darker than the second day. So when it came to editing we desaturated the footage and when compared to the footage that we filmed on the 2nd day the black and white effect didn't look cohesive. So we decided that our music video would look better if it was in color.
- In the images of the lights below we felt that if the audience could visualize the change of the lights then it would make more of an impact than the black and white changing lights.

- Below is a screen shot of Juliana we filmed her in the same frame, while she moved from bench to bench so that when editing we could do fast jump cuts to make it look as if she had suddenly disappeared. This is a camera trick that we thought would make our music video look more innovative. We liked this shot in black and white, but it didn't look the same as the other black and white footage.

This is what it looked like when it was desaturated. |
When we were editing we went through each of the base tracks and labeled it according to best shots and bad takes. The screen grab on the right hand sideshows this. During this editing session we made sure that we put down our best footage and didn't include the base tracks that we didn't want onto our timeline.
