Production- Filming Day 1

Me and Juliana started off meeting at Tennessee chicken shop in old street to get a bite to eat before
we go off to the box park and film. We were unable to contact Tamara as she wasn't replying to any
calls and texts so we decided that we would make our way to the box park to start filming. My friend Tamar was close by and helped us take a few snapshots while we prepared to film. I liked the location and I was
happy we were given the opportunity to film in such a new space. I thought that the Christmas lights reflected well in the camera and I liked the angles in which we shot our music video in.

Difficulties we faced:

  1. It was only me and Juliana so we had problems of how we would play the music because I couldn't hold the camera and the phone at the same time. Neither could she as it would be shown in our recording.
  2. When we did play the music our venue happened to be playing loud music at the same time so it was difficult to hear our own music.
  3. It was cold and I didn't bring any gloves so my hands were frozen so it was difficult to even press record and hold the camera steady.
  4. We didn't have someone their to look after our bags or help us take any shots of behind production.
  5. The extra lights we had were flickering in between recording our footage and it got dark so quickly so it was difficult to see Juliana performing.
  6. Members of the public kept walking into our shots, trying to be seen on the camera and kept distracting Juliana from her performance and me from recording.

What could have been improved:

  1. We should have taken warmer clothes and possibly have met up earlier so that it wouldn't be dark when we were filming.
  2. We should have taken speakers and carried fewer bags
  3. If Tamara was there it would have been easier and would have saved us time looking for places to put our bags down trying to play the music, filming and getting rid of members of the public interrupting our shots
