Annie Mac is an Irish dubstep DJ on BBC Radio 1 in the UK that airs every Friday evenings at 7pm. She is also a Television presenter who recently released her new album 'Annie Mac Presents 2012' she describes in an interview with NME in the link I provided below that it is ' very self indulgent'. I felt that it was important for me to look into similar artists who are producing albums and new music videos. This is so that I can see where the music industry is at this moment, look at possible competition in the market, and see what fans responses are to the new album and single releases. This is so that I can overcome some obstacles when I produce my ancillary work in order to make sure my final product appeals to the intended target audience.

While doing research I found a website called
trackitdown.com it is designed for fans to track new album releases of their desired genre. I felt that this would be helpful in my research into artists that are similar to Katy B, and when researching into digipacks I can visualize how they have presented their artist as a brand and learn some tips from this.
