TAMARA AKOTUAH: RESEARCH - Informing the audience

Epilepsy Action is a charity who provide awareness for people with epilepsy. Kanye West's music video took an attraction to this charity in a negative way as they believe his music video 'All of The Lights' featuring Rhianna  had effects that could trigger and seen as suitable for epilepsy. No warnings where put on the music video causing big problems for the artist. Below are screen grabs of an article/report I found
Kanye West's new music video which has been amazingly popular this year featuring Jay Z however included an epelipetic warning but was still seen as dangerous as the effects could actually trigger epilepsy. Below is a screen grab of the warning of the music video and a gif image I found of shots within the music video which demonstrate the danger of the music video for epileptic audiences.

How will this affect my music video?
When looking over footage it was clear that the lighting of some of the clips had projected and created flashing/ flickering effects. If as a group we decide to keep these clips which contain the lighting problems we will need to consider the risks of the clips in terms of making our music video suitable for epileptic audiences.
