Production- Editing The Rough Cut

During today's lesson we continued to edit our rough cut.
We went through each base track to make sure that they were all lip synched, then we marked our soundtrack with markers on every 4 beats. This is how we have decided to edit each footage to make sure that our music video cuts to the beat.
We decided to start our music video with the traffic light changing from red to yellow in the first four counts, then we included footsteps going down to create anticipation for the audience we don't want the artist to be seen until the first words marked on our base track ''SO''.

This is a screen grab of the effect we used in the beginning of our
music video. We changed the speed to 40% to make the footage slower so that  the red
light can stay on for four counts till the beat changes

This is a screen grab of the timeline. We placed a marker of every 4 beats
and the markers with the double blue are marked when Juliana sings ''so'' and
'' something''

We locked down the soundtrack so that the markers don't move out of place while we are editing
